Living Area

Located on a hill,in a small modern building of 2 floors with views on a lively street where the locals have a chat in front of the local shops. It's a typicall popular scene of O Porto where everybody knows and greets eachother. There is few traffic and the sun shines trough the rooms. Habitated by the popular class families and also by students from the nearby universities, you will find plenty of corner cafes, squares to sit and enjoy the sun, nice views over the river.

Outside

From main historical Station Sao Bento, just about 5 minutes walking, you can take trains to the larges beaches, the interior middle age towns and along the river Douro. Trains are cheap and well maintained.

I would like to thank you and your family the help given during our stay in Porto. The apartment was nice. We had a really pleasant stay and liked very much Porto, the nearby cities we visited (we even visited the market at Barcelos on Thursday) the history, the typical wines and food. We hope to visit Portugal some day again.
