The comfortable sofa in the living area can be converted into an extra bed. For your convenience and enjoyment, the loft is equipped with central split airco system, LCD flat screen television, DVD/CD player, work desk and wireless internet access.

Kitchen Facilities

The contemporary open kitchen is fully equipped with: cook top microwave refrigerator coffee maker toaster blender all utensils needed for preparing a delightful breakfast or other meal For your convenience, there is also a washing machine, iron and ironing board.

Outside

The loft is superbly located on the 10th floor of a residential building with 24/7 security, situated in the heart of Ipanema, 4 blocks from Ipanema beach (posto 9), accross Farme de Amoedo street. The street where the apartment is located, is a small side street closed to traffic, so the apartment has no street noise. You will have free access to the sauna and gym at the 19th floor, plus the solarium with view to the ocean/lake. Should you come by car, you can use the free parking space in front of the building. Your location means the best of Ipanema at your feet: trendy coffee bars & bistrots, 5 star restaurants, health clubs, laundry services, food shopping, trendy boutiques, bookstores etc

One never knows if you are getting what you see over the internet and whether you would actually be happy with your choice? I was one of those skeptical people but was really surprised when I saw the location of the apartment and again when I walked through the front door.

It is perfectly situated in a quiet area but a mere 2 minute walk gets you to the main road with all the restaurants and shops, another 5 minutes to the beach. The apartment has amazing views, I just could not get enough of it. Wherever you are, you look over the entire Ipanema area, the lake and you can even see the sea. I used the small gym on the top floor most days which also has a wide outside area you can run and still enjoy these panoramic views.

The apartment was like being home and has every convenience. It is supplied with every appliance you might need, a washing machine, spa tub, flat screed TV with DVD player...the list can just go on! It is very chic and stylish and one may feel very fortunate being there. Tiled floors throughout, modern and crisp finishes, it was a pleasure coming back there from the beach where a quiet, new and powerful air conditioner quickly cools you. My needs were taken care of and I would rent this apartment again...in a heartbeat. My thanks to Petra and her team for making the apartment available, it was such a pleasure. If I had to grade the apartment from 1 to 10, this would get full marks! Gary, South Africa
