Property Description

Located on the exclusive gated River Strand community within Heritage Harbour (near Bradenton, Sarasota and the Gulf Coast) this property overlooks a nature reserve from the lanai. It has floor space in excess of 2,400 square feet and offers two separate living rooms and a games room. Cable with 42? plasma TV, DVD, iPod dock are all standard in this property which is a short drive from a choice of several of the most beautiful beaches in South West Florida.

The large pool area compliments by extended decking area for sunbathing and entertaining. River Strand has community facilities offering a pool, tennis, soccer and basketball courts and a children's play area together with a fully stocked fishing lake. There are also 27 great holes of golf on the Riverstrand course which guests can play either as members (subject to a 1-time membership transfer fee of $160) or on a pay and play basis.

The property comfortably sleeps up to 8 people and comes complete with free wi-fi and national calls within the USA.

All linen, bath & beach towels provided. There is an assortment of pool toys, a cool box and there are several beach chairs and an umbrella for your use. Baby cots, high chairs, BBQ?s and play stations can be hired from the local management company (payable locally ? please order at time of booking). At the centre of the community there is a play area, volleyball net, basketball hoops and community pool - an ideal place for children and adults to make new friends. The swimming pool area comes supplied with a fitted child screen in accordance with current legislation. The pool is equipped with a filtration system and electric pool heater (subject to a charge of $150 per week should it be required).

World Famous beaches of Anna Maria Island, Sarasota Bay & Longboat Key are only a 30minute drive away, where you can spend the day swimming, fishing or lazing on a beautiful white sandy beach. Located just 90 minutes from Orlando and the Disney and Universal Studios theme parks and just over half an hour from Busch Gardens our villa is the perfect base for a family holiday. If shopping is your idea of a holiday, this area has numerous shops and malls in Bradenton and Sarasota plus one of the largest outlet malls in Florida only 15 minutes drive away at Ellenton (Prime Outlets). There is also the exquisite St Armands Circle just outside Sarasota for those with the taste for expensive boutiques and restaurants.
