Living Area
The living/dining area has a custom dining table that seats 8 persons. The Teak wood floor, the modern tropical furniture, large Thai Silk pillows and various artworks give the room a cozy but luxurious feeling. Enjoy movies on the Home Theatre System with a 42 TV
Kitchen Facilities
The large custom built European kitchen has a large freezer/fridge, oven, hob, microwave, coffee grinder, toaster and a comfortable teak table to enjoy the views from the kitchen. Fine dinnerware and table settings are included.

The villa is tastefully designed with handcarved teak doors, teak wood floors, custom designed furniture, unique Asian art and lush tropical gardens.

Local Activities
Koh Samui is midway between Bangkok and Phuket, inside the Gulf of Thailand. The island is just 21k wide and 25k long and has frequent air services from Bangkok, Phuket, Chiang Mai, Hong Kong and Singapore. The massive seated Buddha image known as ‘Big Buddha’ is just five minutes from the villa. The airport is a 10-minute drive. Koh Samui’s new Santiburi 18 hole golf course is only a 15 minute drive from the villa.
On those days when you are not relaxing by the pool or on the beach you might consider visiting some of the following attractions:
1. Big Buddha
This golden statue is enormous and it sits on the edge of a cliff that overlooks the Gulf of Siam. You can actually see the Big Buddha as you fly into Samui Airport. It is only 5 minutes from the Villa.
2. Fishermen's village
In Bophut lies Fishermen's village, a small village next to the beach with a small range of restaurants, bars and shops. This cozy place enjoys an intimate atmosphere and a wonderful sea view. 10 minutes.
3. Nightlife and shopping area in Chaweng
The villa is located only 15 minutes from Chaweng, the Island's largest resort & entertaining strip. This is the perfect place to do some shopping or to enjoy the local restaurants and bars. Chaweng features a buzzing nightlife every day of the week.
4. Grandmother and Grandfather rocks (Hin Ta, Hin Yai)
Samui's phallic rocks are as popular with Thai visitors as foreigners. In local legend the rocks represent two doomed lovers who drowned themselves in the sea here, because their families disapproved of their relationship. 25 minutes.
5. Rescue trained sea lions
Exclusively on Samui sea lions are being trained to assist in rescuing humans on sea. You can join them for a swim and experience their skills and their friendly nature.
6. Mummified monk: Loung Pordaeng
This monk was famous for his devotion to meditating. He died more than 20 years ago in a meditating position. His body does not show major signs of decay and he is kept in a glass chamber.
7. Jungle trips and elephant trekking
Discover the jungle of Samui Island by taking a tour on an elephant or for the less adventurous, travel by quad bike.
8. Namuang Waterfalls
Two waterfalls; one is 18 m. high and reached by car, the other is 80 m. high and reached by a 30 minute walk.
9. Samui Snake Farm
The snake farm is one of the most popular tourist attractions. The thrilling performances include exciting cobra shows and scorpion shows.
10. Hin Lad Water Fall
This beautiful water fall requires a 30 minutes hike on a trail through the jungle. Most people think the walk is worthwhile. Bring your swimming suit and a picnic lunch if you would like to spend the afternoon.
11. Cable riding tour looking down on the jungle trails
In the hills of Samui you can experience cable riding tours sliding down into the jungle overlooking the many jungle trails.
12. Magic Garden & Waterfall
The magic Buddha garden was the inspiration of one man who built several statues, temples and waterfalls hidden in a location high up in the hills of Samui.
Apart from the activities and sightseeing spots on the island Samui also offers the possibility to visit the surrounding islands. Recommended are snorkeling and diving trips to Koh Tao and Koh Phangan and a day tour to the islands comprising National Marine Park Angthong. Speedboat trips are also available to the Full Moon Parties in Koh Phangan.

Other Information
Villa Talay Sai is located on the North coast of Koh Samui about 10 minutes from the airport on the same road that leads to the Sila Evason Resort. A private road leads to the villa and there is 24 hour security patrols. Some of the finest custom built homes in Samui are in the neighborhood. The Regent Melati Resort is just below and the Sila Evason, a five star resort, is just around the corner. Choengmon Beach is a 5 minute drive and Chaweng Beach and the Santiburi Golf course are within a 15 minute drive.
