Property Description

Casa Altamira is a beautiful, holiday villa, 10 minutes from the village of Casares and 15 minutes from the Costa del Sol. It boasts stunning panoramic views over the mountains of 'Penos Blancas' and surrounding countryside. This 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom house sleeps 6, has its own private pool, Wi-Fi and satellite TV.

There is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, on the upper floor and has French doors that open onto a small balcony. The other 2 bedrooms are on the lower floor one with 2 single beds and the other double with en-suite bathroom. Both bedrooms have French doors leading out onto the wooden decking that surrounds the villa and leads you to the swimming pool area.

The lounge area is cosy with large sofas to relax on and there is a dinning area, which also has French doors leading out onto a balcony. The kitchen is well equipped (washing machine, dishwasher, oven, hob microwave) and is well stocked with herbs, spices and cookery books.

The villa has its own private pool with stunning views of the valley and is surrounded by a lush green Spanish palm and cactus garden.There is also an outside dining area, shaded by an old Cork tree which comfortably sits 6 people. Also there is a lovely seating area under a bougainvilla covered pergola, which leads to a lovely water feature with an original olive mill stone wheel.

It is 10 minutes from the beautiful village of Casares and 15 minutes from the Costa del Sol. It is situated up a 2km track but is accessible with a normal compact car. There are plenty of nearby bars and restaurants including the beach bars down on the coast. Marbella is 45 minutes away with its famous port of Puerto Banus. It is 1 hour's drive from Malaga airport or 45 minutes from Gibraltar.

Rental period is Saturday to Saturday.

Area Description

This lovely holiday villa is 10 minutes from the village of Casares, where you can relax in one of the bars in the main square with a glass of wine and some of the local tapas. You can also explore the maze of narrow streets that wind their way up to the castle overlooking the village.

The Coast is 15 minutes away with Estepona being the nearest town, here there are several beaches with beach bars. Tarifa and the Atlantic coast with its many miles of stunning golden beaches, is just over an hour away in the opposite direction.

Malaga Airport is an hours drive away and Gibraltar airport is 45 minutes, along the coastal road.
