Property Description

Lake Bracciano - Sleeps 4+2 - Groundfloor self-catering apartment in villa, swimming pool, garden, lovely view, a few steps away from the lake. Wheelchair adapted. Additional independent cottage (sleeps 2+2). 40 KM north of Rome. Min.stay 1 week. Car necessary.

70 sq.meters at the ground floor with spacious living room, kitchen corner fully equipped, master bedroom with ensuite-bathroom, twin bedroom with a second bathroom. Two additional sofa-beds in the living area. Linen and towels provided with change every week, as well as weekly and final cleaning service. Central heating and air conditioner. The cottage. Lovely independent small villa in the garden, ideal for a couple with max 2 children: Entrance with living area and kitchen corner full equipped, two sofa beds, double bedroom with exit to the terrace and garden, bathroom with shower.

The villa is right below the town hill of Bracciano: 500 meters by car following the main road, and 200 meters by walking thanks the path leading you directly up to the historical centre with the majestic Castle of Prince Odescalchi, and the local railway station with train to Rome every 30 minutes. Washing machine, private parking, public bus service. The owners, who live upstairs, are at your disposal for any information and help.

The regional park of the lakes Bracciano and Martignano offers lovely beaches in a delightful and sunny location, with the pretty villages of Bracciano, Trevignano and Anguillara Sabazia (looks like a crib on the lake), each one easy to reach by paths or by car and bus. The lake, forbidden to the motors, and water reserve of the aqueduct of Rome, is also wellknown for the princes the Orsini-Odescalchi majestic Castle, which is privately owned, but open to the public for guided tours. Around the lake is also possible to visit The botanical Gardens of San Liberato, designed by Russel Page for the same princes, and The Air Craft Museum. By the Mediterranea sea, only 20 Km far from Manziana, is located the Natural Reserve of Torre Flavia, with nice sunny beaches, and close the famous castle of Santa Severa.
In the nearby, the thermal centres of Stigliano and Viterbo, offer round year, baths of sulfurous 37 degrees water.
