Villa Thea Holiday Rental Afandou / Kolymbia
Luxury Villa Thea, in the Afandou area close to Kolymbia, is on a hilltop location with outstanding views of the sea, hills and countryside, and is available to rent. Accommodation is suitable for 6/8 people in three bedrooms, each with balcony and sea view. A modern fitted kitchen and spacious living area is complete with all essentials. Outside in the landscaped walled grounds, is a patio and terrace to a private 8m x 4m tiled swimming pool. Private parking space. Local amenities are a short drive away in Afandou and Kolympia. Afandou beach provides quiet areas to relax, and Kolympia has beach and water sports. Afandou is an excellent place from which to explore this wonderful island. Bustling Rhodes Town to the north with its fascinating historical Old Town and New Town shopping experience with its departmental and designer shops. Historic Lindos and its Acropolis are to the south, and there are beautiful east coast beaches on any journey. A stay in Villa Thea gives easy access to all the island.
Local Activities
Kolympia 2km and Afandou 3km are within walking distance, but a car is considered essential and is well recommended as it also allows further exploration of the Island.
Local resort hotels, shops, bars and restaurants can be found in Kolympia.
Similarly in Afandou, the village square is particularly attractive where you can sit, eat, chill out and watch the world go by.
There is a supermarket and a petrol station on the main road.
Afandou beach is 800 m away and stretches for approx 3 km. with beach facilities of sun beds, umbrellas and snack bars are available at intervals. The sparkling clean crystal clear water is ideal for swimming and snorkelling. We recommend a short drive to the centre of the beach where there is a smal childrens play area and refreshments.
At the northern end is the only Golf Course on the island.
At the southern end of the beach is Kolympia with its hotels, two beaches and water activities.
Lively Faliraki with a full range of water sports is only 8 km away
