Two suites to choose from.

Nothing like Hale Pali Ku exists. I know. An anthropologist and artist, I built it myself from ideas and artifacts collected from more than 100 countries around the world. I spoke in Indonesian to the old craftsman who meticulously hand carved each of the seven intricate doors. The stained glass windows are all specially designed. Working with my friends, Maui’s best artists and crafts people, many original works of art were built in to the structure. At every turn, we defied convention. A forty foot wide curved roof held up by a 22 ft. native tree. Seamless boundaries between interior and exterior. Screens instead of windows. Outdoor showers. Giant day beds and Asian platform dining. A hidden room through a secret armoire. Perched on the edge of a cliff with a breath taking view of the jungle and ocean, it is located in a “local” neighborhood. This is the real Hawaii. This is what we call rustic elegance.

Local Activities

Beaching, surfing, hiking, shoping, dining, driving tour, Haleakala Crater, secret bays, snorkeling, sailing, stand up paddle boarding, etc.
