This ocean view tropical home is located in one of the most beautiful spots on the East side of the Big Island of Hawaii, approximately 40 minutes south of Hilo. The home is close to great snorkeling in the thermally heated lagoons and tide pools of Kapoho Bay and the Wai'opae Marine Sanctuary. It is just a short drive from the property to Volcano National National Park.

Located in a quiet, oceanfront, gated community with easy accessibility to Kapoho Bay and the ocean itself, there are several calm lagoons for swimming and snorkeling. Some of the lagoons are even heated by geothermal fresh-water springs! A guide map at the house will direct you to all the best spots. Champagne Pond is a 10-15 minute walk from the home or 5 minutes by bicycle, and this home is perfectly located to walk to the Wai'opae Marine Sanctuary for even more swimming and snorkeling experiences.

Please note that Pualani is NOT a two-unit rental! The second bedroom and bath are in the downstairs portion of the home. There is also a rec room next to the bedroom with a sofa, chairs, dining table, and sliding glass doors to the outside and the hot tub. The bicycles are stored in this room for easy access. The main floor is upstairs to make possible the super ocean view and to better catch the tradewind breezes. This home has a very private, secluded and tropical feel to it and is located on a quiet street.

Come visit Kapoho Beach on the Eastern tip of the Big Island where you can swim and snorkel with giant sea turtles and enjoy tropical trade winds and some of the newest land on earth!
