Property Description

In March 2004 we came on holiday to Florida for the first time. We planned on coming once whilst our children were young (they were 2, 4 and 6 at the time) and then returning years later when they would be teenagers. Within a day of being in Florida, we knew it was the place that we would be coming to for years and years over again. Having 3 children rules out most hotel rooms, so we decided to go for it and buy a villa. We were really lucky and were able to buy our 3 bedroom house in September 2004. We had stayed in Indian Creek ourselves are realised it was one of the more prestigious communities, with a fantastic location near to Disney, highway 192 and the I4.

We have loved our vacations in this house and, thankfully, it appears that the guests who have stayed have also enjoyed their time with us. When we bought the house, we wanted it to be a true ?home from home?. A few additional items are included that we have always found to be annoying to need to take, including all bed linen, towels and pool/beach towels, cot, highchair and hairdryers. We even have a cool box for picnics and picnic plates etc! (Very useful for having cold drinks ready in the car after a long day in a theme park!)

All bedrooms have TVs with Cable with the lounge having Premium Cable and HDTV Flatscreen TV, DVD player + CD player (bring your own music!) and there is also a telephone installed with free calls within USA. We have installed a games room into the garage which has given many hours of fun (perhaps a little more competitive than it should be at times between family members!). A laptop is provided with free WIFI, so you can also bring your own computer, if appropriate.

The Kitchen is fully equipped including cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, coffee machine, with plenty of cupboard space and all utensils provided. Plastic plates are included for use by the pool and picnic cool boxes are also available. A breakfast table eating area overlooks the front garden.

The dining area has a large table for more formal eating (or if you want to be able to see the TV!). There is a hatch from the kitchen to pass plates etc through making it easy for preparing and serving dinner.

The lounge (great room) has a 3 seater queen size sofa bed, a 2 seater sofa and chair. There is a TV with full Cable, a DVD player, CD/Radio player and Playstation with a selection of games and a well stocked bookcase. The lounge overlooks the lanai (patio) and pool area. A patio door leads from here to the lanai. This door has an alarm on it so that if anyone gets out by mistake (e.g. young children) you can hear straight away.

The lanai area has pool furniture and table and chairs for you to relax and laze around or splash and swim in the pool. The pool is south facing, and the lanai area is covered by a screen which stops bugs from getting you but doesn?t stop the sun! There is also a Child Safety Fence for extra security in preventing your child from accessing the pool. We have had a hedge planted around the perimeter of the back garden, which is fully grown, to give privacy whilst you are outside.

The Master Bedroom has a King-size bed, spacious en-suite bathroom, TV, DVD, clock/radio, telephone and walk-in-closet (for all those clothes that you buy!).

Bedroom 2 has twin beds, a dresser, closet space, clock/radio and TV.

Bedroom 3 has a full-size double bed, marble top dresser, walk in closet, clock radio and TV.

The second bathroom has a bath and shower and is ideally positioned for daytime use and for Bedrooms 2 and 3 to share.

The villa is air-conditioned throughout and, in addition, the lounge and Master Bedroom both have ceiling fans.

The garage has become a Games Area with a 7? Pool Table and 54? Table Football and 6' Air Hockey Table. The garage is also home to the washing machine, tumble dryer and where the cleaning equipment, for your use, is kept..

Also available for your use is baby equipment of travel cot/playpen (including all bed linen), highchair, pushchair and smaller buggy.


Rentals can be any length, from one night to several weeks!

For stays of 5 nights or less, a cleaning charge of £50 / $90 will be added.

Late availability discounts are available for bookings made within 8 weeks of arrival date - please contact us for an individual quote.

Area Description

The villa is situated within Indian Creek, a quiet residential community.

There are a number of communal areas, including children?s play areas, tennis court, basketball court, putting green, soccer pitch, outdoor gym area and lake with jogging circuit around it!. These are all within walking distance of the villa.

Indian Creek is approx 1 mile off highway 192 with shops and restaurants located at this intersection. These include TGI Friday's, Red Lobster, Outback Steakhouse, Cracker Barrel, Golden Coral, Chinese, Japanese and Italian - many of whom deliver or you can ring for takeout service.

Distances to other parks include -
Seaworld: 15 - 20 mins
Aquatica: 20 mins
Universal: 20 - 25 mins
Busch Gardens: 1 hr
Legoland: 40 mins (Opens 15 October 2011)

Clearwater Beach (our favourite): 1 3/4 hours

GOLF -

we have 3 outstanding courses within about 5 - 10 minutes. Mystic Dunes is the closest, being less than 5 mins away. This is an 18 hole course and you can see more about it at www.mysticdunesgolf.com. About 8 mins away on the 192, is the Legends @ Orange Lake. This is a set of 4 courses, 2 of which are designed by Arnold Palmer - one 18 hole & one 9 hole (the latter being lit at night for play in the dark!). There are also 2 other courses - The Reserve - 18 hole & Crane's Bend - 9 hole. Information on these can be seen at www.orangelake.com/tour_our_resort/orange_lake_golf.html. About 8 mins away in the opposite direction is the Greg Norman designed Championsgate course. More information on these 2 x 18 hole courses can be seen at www.championsgategolf.com.
