Property Description

Imagine swimming in your private infinity swimming pool - sunbathing on the marble patio or relaxing on the lawned garden underneath a palm tree, with a good book in one hand and a glass in the other watching the boats sail by and all you have to do is decide whether you will go to one of the many restaurants in nearby Yalikavak or eat al fresco on the patio watching the twinkling lights across the bay.

The first floor is a vast open plan domed entertainment area with natural stone floors which include the lounge with beautiful stone fireplace ,dining room, luxurious Italian kitchen with all Seimen appliances and entrance hall all looking onto the infinity swimming pool and the bay below. It has been interior designed with ultimate luxury in mind.The villa will give you that special Holiday experience - with style and elegance around every corner
The villa sleeps 6 adults + 2 pre teen children + 2 babies in cots (cots and highchairs provided)
The domed ceiling in the master bedrom is vast with en suite bathroom with double sinks and jacuzzi - you will never want to leave it - leading out to your own private balcony. There is a twin bedded room off the master bedroom - suitable for pre teen children. Air conditioning is provided in bedrooms and living area.
From the living area you enter onto a large marble patio around the infinity swimming pool with a glass topped table and chairs and luxurios ratan sunloungers, leading on to the lawned garden with palm trees and lovely planted borders. The garden is very attractively lit for evening al fresco meals. The kitchen and the 3rd Bedroom have their own patio areas for that early morning cup of coffee.

Area Description

Yalikavak - originally a sponge diving village situated on the North West of the Bodrum peninsula where old traditions sit comfortably alongside the more modern lifestyle. The Town Centre itself around the small harbour with a handsome 300 year old windmill to one side, restaurants line the sea front and in the streets running back from the sea, grocery shops and fruit and vegetable shops nestle alongside an art gallery housed in an old water cistern and a kilim showroom in a former olive oil press. On the coast road towards Gumusluk is a very smart new yaght marina and a little further on there is a great selection of fish restaurants.
The main town beach is just a short walk from the centre.
The striking mosque with its two minarets stands on the hillside and watches over the village. Thursday is market day and villagers from nearby villages come to Yalikavak to stock up with fresh fruit and vegetables.
There are numerous walks in the area, one of the best views must be from the small settlement of Geris perched at the top of a mountain and just a few kilometres from Yalikavak village centre, a local hike may find you stumbling on a derelict windmill, a deserted Greek village, Lycian rock tombs and even a temple dedicated to Zeus, a perfect picnic spot. With the clear blue waters of the Aegean on your doorsep it's no wonder that scuba diving, snorkling, windsurfing, fishing and sailing are well catered for.

The closest airport is in Bodrum which is a 45 minute drive/transfer.
A car is not necessary but would be nice to explore the area.

In the winter months, some charter companies still fly direct from the UK to Bodrum, try www.aegeanflights.com Other routes to Bodrum are via Istanbul, Izmir or Dalaman. Turkish Airlines fly from Istanbul to Bodrum. BA flies from Gatwick to Izmir. easyJet flies from the UK to Dalaman and opened up direct flights into Bodrum during 2010.

To reserve your desired holiday dates please call Jean Spencer (owner) who will confirm availability. (0044 7909 530653) The villa is then booked in your name & a deposit payment of 20% of the cost is due. Six weeks prior to your holiday departure the remaining balance plus a refundable damages deposit of GBP 200 is then due. On return from your holiday and given that the villa has no damage beyond reasonable wear & tear then the damages deposit is returned immediately and in full.
