The apartment is situated in a quiet area overlooking the town of nerja and the mediterranean sea. There is a panoramic view from the terrace accessed from the lounge and double bedroom. The apartment has a fully fitted kitchen, lounge area, two bedrooms and a shower room all furnished to a high standard. San Juan Capistrano nestles on the foothills of the Almijara mountains - yet less than a mile from the town centre and main beaches. The area has its own communal pool, restaurants and mini supermarket (Open Easter to end October). There is a regular bus service to the town and main beach at Burriana.

Area Description

The area of Nerja is characterised by an old town, limestone caves and a tree lined promenade ( Balcon de Europa) and also has a range of restaurants, bars, shopsetc and sandy beaches.
Malaga airport is 50 kilometers away. Granada is in easy reach with the magnificent alhambra palace (1.5hrs drive) The Sierra Nevadas are close by. Two miles away are the famous Nerja caves and further afield are the moorish villages of Competa, Frigliana and the lakes and countryside around Vinuela.
In the area itself there are a number of activities which can be booked locally, horseriding, Diving, quad biking and cycle hire as well as excursions to Granada and Gibralter.
