Property Description

Indoors:

This beautiful property provides outstanding accommodation for up to 11 people and is a child friendly holiday villa. All rooms are forward facing and the villa provides open 180 º fantastic views, from almost every angle, to Obidos lagoon and the beach behind.
The house is on 3 levels and all these are wheelchair accessible. An important note regarding wheelchair accessibility is that both the middle and top floors are directly accessible from the driveway.

The middle floor consists of the living room, kitchen and 2 bedrooms. From here you can walk out to the swimming pool, poolside outdoor gym, pond and barbecue area. There is also access to the car parking area from the middle floor.

The upper floor has the remaining 3 bedrooms, a 6 hole mini-golf course and balconies.

The large living room provides luxurious comfort with a beautiful feature log fire. For your entertainment the villa boasts Satellite TV, DVD, CD and video player. The villa also has air conditioning and central heating throughout as well as a dining table suitable for up to 12 people.

Indoor facilities include a gym, a sauna and games room including table football and table tennis. There is wi-fi internet available as well as a telephone and security safe for your valuables.

Kitchen facilities available include a cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle and iron. Domestic appliances include a dishwasher, washing machine and clothes dryer.

All 5 bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, with the available beds being 3 double beds, 5 single beds as well as 2 sofa beds. There are also 2 travel cots and a highchair available for infants.

Casa Do Lago provides the perfect base to explore the Silver Coast area which boasts wonderful restaurants, golf and beach resorts suitable for the whole family.

Outdoors:

The outside area at Caso De Lago must be experienced to be believed. The extensive gardens provide panoramic views across the lagoon and out to sea. Around this panoramic garden is a keep fit circuit lined by bouganvilla plants and olive trees, which also has 5 park benches so you can stop and enjoy the views. There is also a pool side facing outdoor gym.

There is a large private heated pool with steps and cascading water which is surrounded by a glass swimming pool safety fence to provide uninterrupted views. The pool level sun terrace has many sun loungers awaiting you. The swimming pool can also be heated.

The childrens play area has a swing, childrens slide, monkey bars and a wendy house to provide welcome shade for little ones. There are also 2 hammocks in place so you can relax close by the children while they are playing. This play area is visible from almost every angle of the property and this feature provides parents with great peace of mind

The private garden has a pond which is home to water lilies and aquatic plants. Under an awning in the garden you will also find a stone barbecue on a terrace which is ideal to prepare your al-fresco dining. Adjacent to the BBQ area are 2 further hammocks.

There is also secure parking available at the villa.

Area Description

Foz do Arelho resort village center, is at 1 km away, with a number of superb food restaurants, bars, mini markets, bank, pharmacy, post office,eg.
The Sailing club and aquatic sports are at 1 km.
At 2 mins by car there's a vast surfers beach paradise, but with a large area not facing the Atlantic, thus, suitable for children.
Within 10 mins driving is the important spa city of Caldas da Rainha, with daily fresh products markets, restaurants, bars, vast varied shopping, museums and all modern facilities and amenities.
Obidos the white mediaeval town elected the best wonder of Portugal is at 15 mins by car.
Number one golf course at Praia del Rey, Golden Eagle and other excellent golf courses are within 30 kms away.
Lisbon is at 1 hour and deserves one day visit.
