The riad JMYA is a large house in the medina of Marrakech with a principal residence and adjoining apartment. Both have been renovated to restore the original architecture of the traditional riad.

The main courtyard is planted with orange trees and features a Moroccan fountain with jacuzzi. The courtyard,surrounded by a carved wooden balcony, offers cool temperatures in summer, while the warm winter weather can be enjoyed on the roof terrace.

You can relax in the Moroccan jacuzzi or try the traditional “hammam”.

The principal residence can accommodate 8 persons in four double rooms, each with private bathroom.

Dar Chemaa is the douiria or an apartment where the family welcomed house guests in the past. This independent apartment is linked to the main riad Jmya through doors. This is a typical lay-out for large riads in Marrakech.

The Douiria has its own kitchen and courtyard with ornamental fountain. It offers accommodation for up to 4 people with 2 double rooms. The roof terrace provides an ideal facility for sun bathing or relaxing in the shade.

Myself and the group would like to offer our thanks and gratitude for such a lovely stay at Riad Jmya.
Two persons in the party were celebrating their birthdays and your Riad made this occasion very special. We were very happy with your beautiful Riad, and thoroughly enjoyed our time there relaxing in this very

peaceful setting. It was like an oasis in the midst of the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. The rooms were all very lovely and beautifully decorated, your hard work converting the riad payed off!
Rachida and the other staff were wonderful, and they managed to cope very well with our poor attempts at French!

Breakfast was always a delight.
We definately wish to return, possibly towards the end of the year and will let you know when dates have been arranged.
Thanks again for a fantastic stay in amazing Marrakech!
