Property Description

Marrakech is an amazing city full of winding streets, spice sellers, snake charmers, belly dancers and wonderfully warm people. We love Marrakech and our aim in renovating our two wonderful riads is to share our love of Morocco and its people with others.
We have two riads of which we are immensely proud. Riad Papillon had a rather humble start being purchased on ebay! Yes its true-you CAN buy anything on ebay. Morocco is a poor country and we hope that our hotel venture is contributing to the economy in many different ways. We have tried to use all local materials and furniture wherever possible; unusually for upscale riads we employ only Moroccan staff although they generally speak good english.
Both riads are full of luxuries: egyptian cotton bedding, sparkling dipping pools, ipod docking stations, wifi, fluffy towelling bathrobes and slippers, hairdryers, etc Riad Cinnamon even has amazing duvets made of pure silk!
Our best hotel feature is our fantastic hard working staff: Abdelatif, Yassine, Karina, Radia, Hasna, Meriem and Hassan. They are always smiling but discrete, helpful and patient. They enjoy welcoming our guests to their country and will be very happy to show you their cooking, teach you a few arabic words and answer any questions you may have about Marrakech and Morocco.

Area Description

Marrakech-Riad hotels Papillon and Cinnamon are both perfectly located in the central medina. Riad Papillon is in the well regarded antique district just a moment away from the taxi ranks at Dar El Basha so is easily accessible to all attractions.
Riad Cinnamon is even more central located almost next door to the Marrakech Museum and the Ben Josef Mosque- 2 of the main tourist attractions. It is on the edge of the souks, near to a wide range of authentic cafes and just a 5 minute (shaded) walk to the taxis. Both are very accessible for the Place Jma El Fna central square-just 5 minutes walk.
