Property Description

The perfect base for your self-catering holiday in Malta, our apartment is situated just outside the city walls of old Valletta, a World Heritage City, and within easy reach of all facilities and transport links. The apartment has a balcony and large roof terrace, sleeps up to 8 people and is newly refurbished throughout with modern, stylish furniture and brand new appliances. The apartment sleeps up to a maximum of 8 people and has one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and two double sofa beds in the living room. Modern and stylish bath/shower room, and a second guest toilet.

The accommodation is spacious, light and airy throughout with traditional Maltese features such as the rustic wooden shutters on the windows and balcony doors. There is a separate TV lounge with cable TV and a DVD player. We also have a cot, which is suitable for infants up to 2 years old. Ample bed linen and towels are provided but please bring your own beach towels.

Large kitchen/breakfast room with lots of character (1950s retro-style) and a dining table seating six, fully equipped including coffee maker, kettle, toaster, washing machine, ironing facilities. We can provide a Welcome food pack containing tea, coffee and sandwich-making provisions for your arrival, if required.

The apartment balcony is small but has a patio-size wrought iron table and two chairs - perfect for your morning cup of coffee. The roof terrace, however, is very big with orange trees, jasmine and bouganvillea plants, a large garden table and four chairs where you can take your meals al-fresco, and two sunloungers.

Airport pick-up service by our own drivers. Flexible check-in times. Very friendly and helpful caretaker, maid cleaning prior to arrival and on departure.

From our apartment in Dahlet Gnien is-Sultan, a two-minute stroll takes you into the heart of the old city with its spectacular baroque architecture, distinctive wooden balconies, cool fountains and shaded courtyards. Near year-round sunshine means you can make the most of an al-fresco lifestyle in its squares, gardens and cafes. Explore Valletta's many churches, the Grandmaster's Palace and the Auberges of the Knights of St John, or visit the delightful 17th century Manoel Theatre, the oldest theatre in Europe. Valletta loves to party - there's the famous festas in honour of patron saints, street parades and Carnival - you're bound to catch at least one of these during your stay. And, of course, you'll have a grandstand view of spectacular firework displays over the floodlit Fort St Angelo and Fort St Elmo.
