Property Description

The living-room is large and airy, with a fireplace and two French windows looking on the surrounding countryside. The dining-room and full kitchen (cooker, microwave, fridge+freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster and electric kettle) also have French windows and share a balcony. A washroom (basin+toilet) is provided for guests. The master room has an en-suite bathroom with tub. A staircase links the living-room to the lower floor where two double bedrooms (one with twin beds) and a bathroom with shower are located. These bedrooms have French windows which open on a spacious terrace, linked to the garden on the upper level by a wooden staircase. The pool (13 x 5) is located in a very large garden, has Roman steps and is 140 cms deep all around. It has a comfortable changing room with luxurious shower. There is a smaller garden which runs all around the house, also provided with garden furniture.

Area Description

The town of Spoleto is only 2 kms away from the house and can be reached on foot. Return is uphill, though, and a taxi may be required by the less adventurous :-)
Those who wish to visit the surrounding towns (Assisi, Trevi, Norcia, Perugia and many others) are advised to rent a car.
Spoleto hosts many tourists every year and has everything not only in terms of historic sites and cultural events (Wines of the World, Spoleto Art Festival, Opera week) but also in terms of shops, restaurants, supermarkets. Spoleto can also be a base for car trips in the rest of the region as well as for trekking or cycling excursions in the vicinity.
