Property Description

Baglio Campofranco has just been restored and refurbished with a lot of passion, to maximum comfort.
It sits in the middle of 15 hectares of olive, almond and carrubbi trees, with a totally unspoilt view over fields and sea. It's position enjoys a special fresher climate then any other house on the seaside. The private pool (17mx7m) is accessed through an aromatic garden, with orange trees, lemons, pomegranates and all sorts of aromatic plants.
The 5 bedrooms are very large, and all have their ensuite bathroom. Extensive entertaining space is spread throughout the house, inside and outside.
There is a calming, serene feel to the property. A timeless atmosphere, intrinsically Sicilian.

Area Description

The area is relatively unspoilt, as the masses of tourist never really made it here. Several beaches are natural reserves, which means totally wild and very rarely populated. others are full of sport activities, restaurants and fun bars.
The magnificent baroque town of Scicli is just 5 mn drive away. Ragusa, Modica and Noto are also not far.
A Golf is 20mn drive in Donnafugata (castle remembered in the novel "the leopard" ), as well as horseriding, tennis, surf...
The small fishing village of Donnalucata is well known for the best ice-cream "this side of the world", and has a marina where motorboats can be rented for the day.
