Property Description
The villa is situated in a residential area and it is possible to walk or drive to a number of beautiful beaches along the coastline. It has 2 bedrooms (a double and a twin), a shower room and a dining/living room and a fully equipped galley kitchen. Outside there is a patio with a wooden table and 6 chairs. Ideal for al-fresco dining. There is a small garden and a hot and cold outside shower. Very useful for taking the sand off. This location is ideal for families and couples. There is also the possiblity, if your group is bigger or your travelling with friends, of an adjacent 1 bedroom villa (see Villa Mirto). The English owner lives locally and is on hand to give you any advice or assistance that you might need. A car is recommended as there is a limited bus service from and to Olbia.

Area Description
Pittulongu is a coastal residential area just 7 kms from Olbia centre. It has various good quality restaurants and bars and watersport facilities, right on the beach, and within walking distance. These are a few of the local beaches Pittulongu, Lo Squalo, Pellicano, Mare Rocce and Bados. There is also a well stocked small supermarket on the main road. Larger supermarkets can be found in Olbia, along with a twice weekly street market, and many shops, restaurants, bars and night clubs. In August there is also a lively night market in the main street. Olbia also has several large banks and a Hospital. Pittulongu is also an ideal base for those wishing to explore the area as it is just approx. 17 kms to the renowned Costa Smeralda and 43 kms to Palau where you catch the ferry to visit the beautiful Aricipelago of the Maddalena.
