Property Description

This is a beautiful 5 years old villa in its own grounds made with local stone and with beautiful ?trullo style? arched ceilings. Situated 4km from the lively and characterful town of Cisternino and set in the wonderful Puglian countryside dotted with olive groves. The property has a very large open plan lounge and kitchen dining area, three bedrooms (one master bedroom with en suite bathroom), one double bedroom and one twin bedroom and second bathroom.
The house has an outdoor terrace, garden and has garden furniture with outdoor dining area to enjoy the views. The circular pool is 1.5m deep. The property is approximately 14 km from the coast and there are beaches and a coastal nature reserve at Torre Guaceto to enjoy. The pretty hillside towns of Cisternino (4km) and Ostuni (10km) both have historic centres and great local osteria where you can enjoy the Puglian cuisine and wines.

Things to do: There are lots of things to do in Puglia. The beautiful town of Cisternino is only 5 mins away.
The villa is a 15 minute drive from the coast and 4km from the nearest historic town of Cisternino. The nearest beach is Torre Canne and the coastal nature reserve of Torre Guaceto is about 18km away with footpaths and secluded beaches Our stunning local towns, Cisternino and Ostuni

Cisternino is a beautiful town with its ancient cobbled streets, wonderful restaurants and shops and street market. It is also just a short drive to the famous white city of Ostuni and the wonderful baroque city of Martina Franca. The world heritage site Alberobello (Trulli Town) is also just a short drive away, and the best family beach in the region, beaches, are around 15 minutes drive away. ( market Monday morning)


Ostuni is perched on a hill 10km away with an old historic centre with very old cathedral and central plaza.

Fasano - is lovely little old town with a pretty central square and a safari zoo for children.

Lecce - a beautiful historic city with an old historic centre and beautiful churches and little curiosity shops and great delicatessen ( an hour?s drive). This has a market on Friday mornings.

Martina Franca - another lovely town with a historic centre about 12km away (15-20 mins) ? lots of little boutiques. This has a very famous music festival in July and early August.

Gallipoli - a coastal town with a beautiful harbour (just over an hour?s drive away)

Otranto - this is quite a touristy seaside town but has a lovely old centre and great walk along the harbour walls with lots of sea view restaurants.

Monopoli - this is an unspoilt little walled, historic town right on the coast with a lovely little sandy beach, high castle walls and a reasonably priced fish restaurant overlooking the coast just south of the town. Just head up the A379 in direction of Bari and you will come to it.

Polignano a Mare - another lovely little unspoilt walled town right on the coast.

The active coastal town of Torre Canne is located on the Adriatic side, between Bari and Brindisi.

It offers bathing pleasure at long and fine sandy beaches and countless other leisure activities.

At Torre Canne, you will find the oldest, yet best developed thermal baths of Apulia.

And, not far from here, lies the excavation site of Egnazia, in ancient times an important trading centre of the Roman Empire.
