Local Activities

The location of this property means that there is something for everyone. It is situated on a fairly busy road (although this is enclosed so children are safe), and this road links the property to many villages, towns and attractions.

The pretty renaissance town of Fontenay-le-Comte is just 15 minutes by car, as is the surrounding forests with Parc Pierre Brune, Zoo, watersports, horse riding and much more.

The cosmopolitan town of Niort is only 15 minutes in the opposite direction, with narrow streets, great shopping and many bars, restaurants and cafes. Both towns have large and busy markets.

The beautiful harbour town of La Rochelle is 50 minutes by car and the Futuroscope theme park 1 hour.

Just a 10 minute drive from Residence Beausejour will take you to a large lake with a man-made beach (supervised by lifeguards), waterslides, bar and boats.

The family friendly beaches of the Vendee are within easy reach (45 minutes) and the coastline also boasts some great surf.

The property borders an area known as Green Venice which has miles of canals and hidden waterways to explore.

Golf and go-karting are also available nearby.
