At Gites du Sorbier, we offer high quality, spacious, gite accommodation in the beautiful Limousin region of central France. We are situated in a one-acre fully enclosed plot, with beautiful unrestricted views towards the nearby village of Le Chalard.

Area Description
We are situated within the Perigord Regional National Park area, on the historic route of Richard the Lionheart and only 35 minutes from Limoges airport with direct flights from many regional UK airports. Ideally situated for visiting the historic towns and villages in the Dordogne (3km away) and Limousin regions, with their beautiful chateaux and churches.
The local area offers good walking routes, excellent roads for cycling and plenty of opportunities for fishing and bird-watching.
The village of Ladignac-le-Long (3 km), has a leisure lake with beach, a local bar and a few shops, including a bakery. Our local town, St Yrieix La Perche (9 km) has all the amenities you will need, including several large supermarkets, shops, banks, cinema/theatre restaurants and bars and a lovely new water park/leisure centre.
