Property Description

Fully air conditioned. The villa is located just below the highest point of the Peyia hillside, in a picturesque area known as "Where the Gods Live" Has unobstructed panoramic views of the blue Mediterranean and Coral Bay, with a breathtaking view of mountains and Paphos in the distance. The nearest shops, taverns and banks are a 3 minute drive away in the village of Peyia. Coral Bay is only 5 minutes drive away with its sandy, award winning beach, and bars, restaurants and shops. The historic town of Paphos is only a fifteen minute drive, and a 20 minute drive the other way will take you to the world wide famous baths of "Aphrodite the Goddess of Love. Plenty of golf courses in the area. The sitting room is open plan with features a marble fireplace, two large comfortable sofas with a large arm chair, coffee table and stand lamp. For nights in, there is a large television and DVD player Large patio doors give stunning views to the sea from inside and open onto a patio and two balconies, The dining area has an oval glass dining table with six chairs, separated from the spacious kitchen by a breakfast bar. Oven with ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher. Washing machine. Kettle. Microwave, toaster. Bed linen and bath towels are supplied, but please bring your own beach towels, All of the bedrooms are upstairs, one double with an on suite and two further twin bedded rooms sharing a bath shower room. Two of the bedrooms have large balconies with panoramic views all bedrooms have fitted wardrobes. And all have ceiling fans and air-conditioning. There is a further toilet downstairs. The private pool and six person Jacuzzi is on a lower level directly below the sitting room Patio. The Jacuzzi is not integrated with the pool allowing a larger area for swimming with ample sun beds. There is a BBQ area. The area surrounding the pool is crazy paved with a small flower bed at each end of the pool we do not charge extra for the air-conditioning or use of the Jacuzzi the price stated is the price you pay. As this is our first year renting our rental charges are one of the lowest for this area. (Car is required).

Area Description

Peyia is just a 5 minute drive from Coral Bay and situated in the foothills of Paphos therefore affords breath-taking sea views. It is a typical yet very friendly Cypriot village, with narrow streets full of old and interesting houses, and still all the amenities that you could wish for, which include 2 supermarkets, 2 banks, a chemist, patisserie and plenty of taverns', bars and restaurants, all very good quality and reasonably priced.


Agios Georgios is about a ten minute drive from the villa use the new highway to get there it's a small harbour with local fishing boats the monastery is on higher ground above the harbour next to the monastery is a restraint the food is ok and the wine is better the views are great you can see all the Large gaping holes that have formed in the cliff face this area is known as sea caves.


Polis and Latchi are about a fifteen minute drive from the villa, Polis this is where Aphrodite the Goddess of love used to bath in one of the fresh water springs that come down from the mountains to get there you just turn left at the top of the private road from the villa and continue on the same road until you come to Polis


Paphos has a pretty harbour where one can still see the ancient Roman breakwater. Around the harbour are lots of taverns and bars. There are many archaeological remains such as the House of Dionysos which has a fine mosaic floor. There are several old Greek churches, and The Tombs of the Kings, which are ancient burial places, are just outside the town. Sub-aqua diving is available from several companies along the sea front. There are lots and lots of shops in this area I usually let the wife go shopping while I sample the local wine in one of the many bars.

Golf can be played at Aphrodite Hills golf course this is approx 1hr away the course features the following.
18 holes, Par 71/70, 6232 metres. Carved out of groves of carob and olive trees on 2 high plateaux divided by a ravine; the championship standard course opened in October 2002 overlooks the Mediterranean with all but a few holes, enjoying superb sea views. There's double ended 350 metre practice range, also offering 4 target greens with accompanying bunkers. For those who only have time for a short practice round, there are 3 academy holes (1 Par3, and 2 Par4). On hand are 2 resident professional golf instructors.
Last but not least the 19th hole has a superb clubhouse with pro shop, restaurant and bar overlooking 18th hole.
