There are some beautiful beaches to visit, including one in the capital of Arrecife, Playa Reducto, where after a mornings shopping you can cool off with a quick dip in the sea and then laze around on the lovely golden sandy beach. The fantastic surfing beach at Famara is a short drive away and there is great snorkelling at Costa Teguise which again, is a short drive away.
There are lots more places to visit, too numerous to mention here, but please feel free to ask the owner for more information.
