Property Description

The Farmhouse is a comfortable family home which sleeps 12/14 people plus up to 2 babies in 5 bedrooms, with main bathroom, ensuite bathroom and a shower room. Facilities include large swimming pool, summer kitchen/bar area, games, books, dvd's, toys and playarea.

Close to the Marais Poitevin and 1 hour to the Vendeen coast and La Rochelle. Lots to do and see close by.

Local Activities

We are located at the edge of the village of Oulmes which has numerous amenities within walking distance. 20 minutes to the Renaissance town of Fontenay-le-comte and the city of Niort (both with traditional markets on Saturday). We are on the edge of the Marais Poitevin or Venise Verte (Green Venice), ideal for walking and cycling. Withing 20 minutes drive are the Abbey's at Maillezais and Nieul sur L'Autise, the forest of Mervent with beach area's on the river with water sports, a Zoo and Parc de Pierre Brune.
