A very large 3 bedroom gite with stunning countryside views, close to Tours and the many Chateaux in the Loire valley.
The gite forms part of our 400 year old stone built farm estate, tastefully renovated to a high standard within extensive, well maintained, mature gardens.
Local Activities
Visit vineyards in Tourane,Chinon,Bourgeuil,Vouvray,Saumur.
Visit more than 25 Chateaux in the region. (Most of the wine regions and Chateaux are within an hours drive)
(1Km) Walk or cycle down to the local village for your daily bread.
(3.5Km) Cycle or drive to our nearest market town (Ligueil) on market day or for a large supermarket shop. Pick up the key from the local tobacconist for the very good civic tennis courts or take a dip in the town swimming pool
(40Km) Amboise has a very large Sunday market on the riverbank and the place where Leonardo da Vinci spent his last years working for his great friend, the Renaissance king, François I.
