Casa Mariposa is a recently renovated traditional Spanish farmhouse with original timber beams, set in magnificent countryside. Ideal for a quiet holiday, walking, historic sightseeing, house hunting.

It is situated on a quiet track among the olive groves in the hills above the village of Casillas de Martos.

Jaen is the land of olive trees and white-washed farms. The soil is orange in colour and makes for a very dramatic and truly beautiful landscape.

Suitable for 2 to 5 people.

Heating provided when required. Fans in bedrooms. Children and pets are most welcome.

The village of Casillas de Martos is approximately 4 km away with several tapas bars, restaurants, doctors, chemist, basic shop and bakery. The local towns of Alcaudete and Martos are approximately 12 km away.

The historic cities of Granada and Cordoba are 1 hours drive away, Jaen is slightly closer.

There is also the magnificent village of Zuheros approximately 30km away. The village was established during the 10th century under the reign of the Muslims at which time the first castle was constructed over the Roman fort, the last Moorish fortifications were completed in the 12th century.
