Property Description

This cottage farmhouse is situated just outside the medieval village Montefoscoli in a nice and panoramic environment, on a 10 minutes walking distance from the small village a sand path, between the orchards. Around the house there is a garden, Wonderful quiet house to stay with a family (maximum of 6 persons)

When you are only two persons, the prices decrease

Local Activities

The quiet village Montefoscoli (600 inhabitants) lies among the gently sloping hills of the Valdera, and has a great view towards Volterra and Pisa.

Small shops, two bars, postoffice.

The rural committee looks after guided tours in the 'Museo dellla Civiltà Contadina' and the 'Museo Andrea Vacca'. You can also visit the temple which Andrea Vacca, inhabitant of Montefoscoli and famous doctor in the Empire period, built in 1823, 1km outside of Montefoscoli

The Vespaclub has its seat here (in Pontedera, nearby, is the Vespa-museum)

For the rural festivals in May and in September everyone in the village is really committed. This is a village where tradition is important, and community sense a fact.

In the surroundings of Montefoscoli beautiful walks can be made. Tenant gets descriptions for these walks, a plan, and tips for restaurants, markets, dinners at individuals, cook at your home adress, tasting of Tuscan dishes etc.
