Property Description

Located on the Gulf Coast of Florida, just off of Anna Maria Island and north of Longboat Key and Sarasota! Cortez is an historical fishing village that will hearken you back to yesteryear. Tin roofs and wooden cottages with beadboard are the housing fare here, none of the highrises you see in other parts of Florida.

Just steps to the bay and a short walk to restaurants and shopping, including the famous pierside/outdoor Cortez Kitchen and the Star Seafood. Bring your flip flops and bicycles! Ride over the bridge to nearby Anna Maria Island, with its seven miles of white sandy Gulf of Mexico beaches.

Bradenton Beach is another nearby village, with a fishing pier and several quaint shops and restaurants, ice cream shops, and access to the local trolley which runs up and down the island and to Longboat Key and St. Armand's Circle!
