Property Description

The Byre is the first of the Sakli Vadi cottages that was bought and is the largest of the three. The ruin was bought in 1993 and took a little over a year to restore.

The restoration was done after much research into what the original building looked like, both inside and out. The cottage was awarded a plaque from the Turkish Ministry Of Tourism & Culture for “Sympathetic Restoration Of Turkish Heritage” of which the owners Sandy & Jon Carter are justifiably proud.

The Byre has two single beds on a balcony above the salon, suitable for teenagers. During the three high season months we apply a surcharge Gbp. 50.00 per bed per week and during the rest of the year, Gbp. 35.00, per bed per week.

Local Activities

For visitors who are active, the Kaya Valley has plenty to offer. It's wonderful for walking, cycling, photography, jogging and water sports at Gemilier Bay or Oludeniz. For the daring amoungst our visitors, you can tandem hang glide off Baga Dag mountian ! For those who just want to chill out, the area is quiet and peacful.



For those looking for a bargain, the Tuesday Market every week in Fethiye is a must do.
