Property Description4 Star self-catering cottage adjoining attractive home, overlooking the Gareloch, in Shandon near Helensburgh. Sleeps 2. On Clyde Sea Lochs Trail, bordering Loch Lomond National Park, 26 miles north of Glasgow. A good touring base for Loch Lomond, the Trossachs, the Western Highlands, Glasgow, Stirling and Inveraray. Living Area A private entrance hall leads to a large open-plan kitchen/living-room with loch views. The living area has a maple dining table and chairs, double sofa bed, easy-chair, and a feature-fireplace. Also: TV with Freeview, DVD player and a selection of DVDs, radio/CD-player, books, toys, plus lots of tourist information. Upstairs, the double-bedded room, furnished with an antique suite, has hairdryer, TV, and clock/radio, plus panoramic Gareloch views. The adjoining bathroom has an over-bath shower, shaver point, constant hot water, and a selection of toiletries. Kitchen Facilities The well-equipped kitchen includes oven, hob, extractor, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave and washer/dryer. There's a kettle, toaster, toasted-sandwich maker, food mixer, picnic bag, plus crockery, cutlery, pans, cooking utensils etc. Everything is provided...all you'll need is food. Outside Outside there’s your own small patio with garden furniture, set in a large garden. There's also off-road parking.
SuitabilityThis property is best suited to couples, as it has one double-bedded bedroom. It will sleep a maximum of three persons as there's a sofabed or a futon available, also a cot. Local ActivitiesGaremount Lodge is an ideal base for exploring this beautiful area of Scotland. We’re on the Clyde Sea Lochs Trail, adjoining the Loch Lomond National Park, within an hour of Glasgow, Stirling, the Trossachs, and Inveraray.
