Property Description

self-catering brittany holiday home

Our cottage is in Brittany on the North West coast of France. It is in a great location for a seaside holiday, with the sea only a 25 min stroll (for those active types) or 5 minutes away by car.

Though off the beaten tourist track (no crowds, no big hotels), the area is much sought after for its beaches and water sports. The nearby coast features exquisite white sand beaches, quiet coves, fishing ports and a cliff path giving superb views over the Bay of Audierne.

Within walking distance (or a short drive) is the town center of Audierne with village shops, bars and restaurants, and a lively Saturday market selling local produce, seafood, cheese, local hard cider and charcuterie. There is a bakery just around the corner for your morning croissant. There is a river and footpaths through the woods. There are also many miles of pathways along the coast for walking or cycling.

We invite you to explore this marvelous area from the comfort of your own cozy fisherman's cottage.

Living Area

This small, no-frills cottage is economical and impeccably clean.

The property accomodates five comfortably, in three bedrooms. (It also contains a fold-out couch which can sleep an additional person.) This property is ideal for small parties, 2 adults and 2-3 children, or 4 adults and 1-2 children.

You will feel completely at home here. The kitchen is fully equipped with all that you will need to take advantage of the wonderful seafood and produce available in this fishing and agricultural region. We also provide linens and towels.

The ground floor consists of a living room and a simple but clean, recently-updated and fully-equipped galley kitchen. There is also a bathroom with tub and shower attachment and separate WC.

The first floor consists of a bedroom with double/queen bed, a small bedroom with single/twin bed and a separate WC.

The top floor is a long, bright, twin bedroom with skylights.

The cottage does not have a garden, though we spend so much time outside or at the beach that we never miss it.

There is street parking for one car and electric heating.

The closest beach and the town center with all its amenities, are a twenty-five-minute walk (for those active types) or a five-minute drive away. There are several other marvelous beaches in the area.

Our property managers are always available to answer questions, assist and give recommendations on things to do and see in the area.

300-575 euros/ week. Early-bird and long-stay discounts are also available.
