Property Description

A very different concept in Bed & Breakfast in a traditional 1746 Portuguese Casa with 4,500 hand painted tiles and beautiful original features. Furnished with antique furniture, many pieces purposely made for the Quinta in the 18th century. There are eight spacious suites, each sleeping up to six, with en suite bathrooms and some with separate sitting rooms/bedrooms.

Living Area

Six spacious suites are located around the pool and sun terrace with views over the walled paddock. One is located in the Annex to the Manor House in a converted Adega and one in the Manor House itself. Suite sizes vary from 36m2 up to 52m2 and are completed to the highest standards.

Kitchen Facilities

Most suites have two double beds and a double sofa bed allowing comfortable accommodation for large families without the need for renting more than one room. Suites have refrigerators initially stocked with complimentary beers, soft drinks and bottled water, a room safe, tea and coffee making facilities, wireless internet, and a complementary bottle of wine to settle the dust of the journey.

Outside

A large 12m x 6m ecological salt water (very mild and no chlorine) swimming pool is within metres of the barn suites set within a tranquil sun terrace. A large BBQ is available for use complete with place settings. There are 7 acres of land to be enjoyed and horse riding is also available within the historic grounds. There is a good selection of excellent cafes and restaurants within walking distance.

The historic town of Sintra is 10 minute drive or a 10 minute train journey. Lisbon is 15km away by car or 25 minutes by train from the village station. Obidos is also accessible by train from the village.
A World championship Clay Pigeon Shooting range is 5km away and many golf courses around, the nearest of which near Belas is also 5km away.
Estoril Autodrome is a 15 minute drive and Local Markets are close by and many places of interest are local.
