Local Activities

Altinkum is an exciting resort which attracts both the Turkish and English speaking people, giving you a good feel for Turkish life. There are 3 wonderful golden sandy beaches which gently shelve into the clear blue Aegean sea making them suitable for all ages, especially children. Each of these beaches has nearby restaurants that offer pick up and drop off services if you don’t feel like walking.

At night time the main beach becomes a hive of activity, with a wide range of restaurants and snacks “on the go”. There are plenty of bars and some nightclubs as well as many shops and stalls, selling everything imaginable.

The apartment is ideally located such that you don't need to rent a car if you don't want to. Most places in the area can be reached by foot or by Dolmus (local mini-buses that are extremely cheap and frequent).

Ideal for Aqua Park, Temple of Apollo, Ephesus, House of the Virgin Mary, Pamukkale.

Other Information

The apartment is situated within the Royal Marina complex which was only completed in June 2007 and is constructed to the highest standards. There is a 24 hour manned reception, with one main entrance, and CCTV security around the complex. Excursions, car rentals, and money exchange are available at reception. All staff working on this complex are friendly, efficient and helpful.
