Property Description

The apartments can be booked individually or opened up to cater for larger groups enabling you to have as much or as little privacy as required.
You can eat as a group or separately in your own apartment whichever best suits your requirements.
The chalet is available on a catered basis in winter with arrivals and departures on Sundays but can be booked with or without catering during the summer months (June until September).

CHALET SHALIMAR is not just another chalet in Zermatt : it is one of the top properties in the resort and the location as a ski-in ski-out chalet (snow-conditions permitting) offers what until now has been missing in Zermatt.
All the apartments have large balconies or patios with unsurpassable views of that most commanding of mountains, the Matterhorn.
It lies in the lovely area of Winkelmatten on the outskirts of the village where the old chapel dates back to the 17th century and the old sheep barns are burnt black by the strong Valais sun.
It is a 15-minute stroll to the village centre or 5 minutes in the electric ski-bus or an electric taxi.

The SPA AREA on the lower ground floor is the perfect place to relax after a hard day on the slopes. It features a swimming pool which opens up to a relaxing area with loungers revealing again the Matterhorn in all its glory, as well as a sauna, a steam bath and a massage room.

The chalet comprises :
Lower ground floor : spa area with swimming pool, sauna, steam bath
Ground floor : ski room with heated boot racks
2 separate apartments ?FURI? and ?SCHWARZSEE? with 2 bedrooms (4 beds) with ensuite bathrooms and living/dining with log-burning fireplace and Matterhorn patio or
one large apartment for 8 persons

First floor : 2 Duplex apartments ?TRIFJI? and ?HOERNLI? each for 6 persons
(3 twin bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms ) plus living/dining with log- burning fireplace, or
one large duplex apartment for 12 persons

Second /top floor : upper duplex floor with living areas and sumptuous dining area
