Property Description Bookmark and Share

This nearby small suburb was built in the 1960ies on the elegant island of Lidingö, considered the first of the 20 000 islands in the archipelago. It has a warm, friendly atmopshere. The first thing you see is the kitchen with a cosy traditional kitchen sofa to curle up in when enjoying dinner. From the comfortable livingroom you overlook the sea, the sky, the cliffs, beautiful trees ? and the skyline of Stockholm ? why turn the television on? The room is spacious enough to hold 2 extra beds, when needed.

The bedroom is big, comfortable and quiet. The bathroom is of good normal Swedish standards.

Very close to the lovely museum of Millesgården

Area Description

Stockholm is filled with fantastic and exciting activities to keep you occupied during your stay in this cultural city.

There is so much to see and do including a trip to the Vasa Museum. The museum is built around one of the worlds foremost art treasures and contains the only preserved ship in the world from the 1600?s. The Museum has a small gift shop and a restaurant as well as nine fabulous exhibits.

A trip to the Gamla Stan (Old Town) is well worth a visit even if just to view its traditional shops and small cafes. The colours of the town are picturesque and the views are superb so make sure you take your camera!

The royal Palace and Stockholm city hall are also a marvellous experience to be had. The majestic buildings contain endless amounts of historical facts and have been decorated and preserved brilliantly.

For a thrilling, sightseeing adventure, why not hop on board a rigid inflatable speed boat. During this fast passed ride you will encounter the true beauty of the island as well as experiencing the rapid speeds of the boat and the ways in which it rides and bounces the ocean waves.

Another exquisite experience to be had is at the Central Badet bath house situated in a beautifully decorated building with a courtyard. The bath house has been in the city since 1909 and remains to be the most relaxing destination in Stockholm.
