Property Description

A newly refurbished 2 bed apartment just a few steps from the large pool & terrace with further access to 6,000sqm of fenced land. It has a brand new fully equipped kitchen with granite worktops. It enjoys its own terraced area with pergola for shade. The unit enjoys fine views down the valley yet is very close to the town of Albox with its many bars, restaurants & shops.

Living Area

The main bedroom has a double bed, bedside units, a wardrobe & dresser unit. The second bedroom has two single beds with bedside units and a wardrobe. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower, toilet, vanity unit, mirror and the washing machine. The apartment also benefits from a coffee maker, toaster, sandwich maker, iron & ironing board & a full set of crockery & cooking untensils. There is a barbecue & outside table & chairs. The lounge area enjoys 2 & 3 seater settees, antique pine table & chairs. It also has a TV & a Hi-Fi unit. There is a log burner for winter evenings. All rooms have ceiling fans & are fully double glazed. All linen is provided & bath towels & changed weekly (beach towels not provided).

Kitchen Facilities

The kitchen has a built-in oven, gas hob & extractor, sink, microwave, large fridge/freezer, granite worktops & plenty of cupboard space.

Outside

Outside there is a barbecue, wooden table & chairs, a 9m x 4.5m pool (shared with the owners) with a 140 sqm fully tiled/walled terrace. There is also a table tennis table. There is a large gravelled area for guests to enjoy with many palm trees. The extensive fenced area has many large olive trees & a childs swing

There are several golf courses within 25 minutes drive, including Valle de Este and the famous Desert Springs.The beaches of Garrucha/Vera & Mojacar are 30 & 35 minute drive away resectively, both have been awarded the Blue Flag for cleanliness.The lakes at Baza have a turquoise water & spectacular scenery reminiscent of the Grand Canyon. There are also many local Natural Parks to explore and a 16th century castle in Velez Blanco.
The area is ideal for walking holidays and there is abundant birdlife locally to observe

Albox has all the facilities for day to day living - shops, banks, supermarkets & many restaurants/bars. Here you can still enjoy a 3-course menu del dia for 8 euro. All the local towns & villages have daily markets where you can buy a large variety of goods.
