Property Description

My romantic apartment is situated 10 minutes walk from San Marco. Piccola Perla is rightly named little pearl.Situated on the ground floor,it has its own private courtyard. The bedroom with an en suite marble shower room,has a king sized bed which is furnished in silks and velvet.The courtyard has chairs where you can sip a complimentary glass of Prosseco

Living Area

The comfortable sitting room has a sofa bed,dining table and chairs. The rooms have floors of marble and chestnut beams.Original pictures hang on the walls.There is a small library, DVD player and radio.

Kitchen Facilities

The fully equipped mini kitchen is enclosed by folding doors.Also a combi microwave/oven

Outside

Piccola Perla is situated in a small Ramo off Salizada San Antonin where there are local shops and cafes.The private courtyard has climbing plants and an original C16 well now flowing with greenery.The sitting room is accessed through the courtyard.

Suitability

Ideal for couple. The sofa bed can be used for children,or another couple. Sometimes two friends may like a bed each.

Venice is famous for its culture.
The Carnival runs for two weeks in February(date dependent on Easter)
2009 Art Biennale from June to November.Numerous festivals and regattas such as Redentore in July.
Famous islands:Murano for glass, Burano for lace and the Lido for seaside and Venice Film Festival in September.Padua Vicenza and Verona within an hour train ride.Skiing in the Dolomites.

Other Information

The apartment is privately owned and has the atmosphere of a home. All the neighbours are Venetian. A local supermarket has a fabulous deli counter. Two vaporetto stops are nearby at Arsenale and San Zaccaria.
Towels are provided. In summer fans and mosquito nets.Wellingtons and umbellas for aqua alter (high water)
