The Apartment Alice is on the first floor of the beautiful Villa Radda. Villa Radda consists of two large independent apartments furnished with large living-rooms and dining areas where all of the guests can dine together. It is furnished with typical tuscan furniture The property lies less than 5 kms from the town of Castellina in Chianti, and is reached by taking the road towards Radda, and then entering an untarred road that leads straight into the garden of Villa Radda. The surroundings are particularly beautiful and panoramic, and it is unusual in Chianti to have a view over a valley without a single house roof in sight, and the natural scenery seems to go on forever down into the valley below. The high level of comfort is particularly enhanced by the absolute privacy that you can find here both inside and outside of the villa. The area between Castellina in Chianti and Radda is one of the most typical of the Chianti Classico area, and besides the many vineyards producing excellent red wines, there are also good local restaurants and attractive medieval villages. Florence is 42 kms away, and Siena 25 kms. In the villa they can also organize tuscan cooking lessons and arrange for delicious dinners to be cooked for you.
