Property Description

This superior apartment, set in a small select development. Tastefully decorated and furnished to a very high standard. It overlooks the colourful working harbour dotted with fishing boats and yachts. Both the harbour and the town centre are only 50 yards away and you'll find golden sands and Arklow's wonderful golf course less than half mile away. Dublin and Rosslare are just 50 kilometers away.


We have no limit on changeover day and can assist you to find overnight accommodation if the unit is unavailable on your arrival or departure dates.

Bedrooms: Bedroom one is a large furnished master bedroom with a king size bed and an additional single bed. It is a bright room with a large picture window.
Bedroom two is a double bedroom with built in wardrobe.

Bathrooms: The large family bathroom has a bath with an electric shower.
Kitchen: The kitchen is located just off the living room and is fully equipped with a fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, washer-dryer, oven and hob and plenty of storage. All standard fittings are included.
Utility Room: There is a small cloakroom with storage available containing hoover, iron, ironing board etc.
Living Rooms: Bright living room with picture window includes plenty of seating, dining room suite, TV and radio. It is a large family room which provides a good level of comfort and relaxation.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service: The property is cleaned in advance of your arrival and additional cleaning is available according to your needs. Linen and towels are available at a cost of E40 per week.Utilities including internet access can be accommodated. Check with owner for rates.

Accessibility
As it is a ground floor unit it is easy for those with mobility issues to feel comfortable.

Outside
The apartment complex has private gardens with plenty of outdoor space.
A booking deposit of Euro 200 per week is required to reserve your holiday.
The balance is due 30 days in advance of your holiday. I can accept interbank payments with IBAN and Swift codes or payment by bank draft to Ann McGovern, 11 Beechwood Lawn, Killiney, Co Dublin, Ireland. Terms and conditions include cleaning, linen, services and utilities.

Area Description

Arklow South Beach is a 5 minute walk from the property and there is a wonderful walk from the Bridgewater shopping centre nearby to the North Beach which stretches for many miles. Brittas bay, Irelands award winning blue flag beach is just 15 minutes away by car and offers wonderful picnic spots, fishing and parking facilities.

Golf
Arklow's 19 hole championship golf course is just 5 minutes away by car, Blainroe in Brittas Bay is 14 kilometres away and there are 20 other courses throughout Wickow, Wexford and Dublin to challenge the best golfers in the world.

Special interest holidays
Music, Irish dancing, and art are part of cultural life in Arklow and Ireland so check out the local Tourist office to see whats happening around the town when you come to stay.

Travel
Dublin airport is one hour away, Dublin port is one hour away, Dun Laoghaire port is 40 minutes away, Rosslare port about one hour and 20 minutes away.

A car is recommended to get around comfortably although there are regular Dublin-Arklow-Rosslare train and bus services if you prefer not to drive.

Distances
The apartment is beside Arklow town center, near the wonderful main street with music, pubs, parades and festivals happening throughout the year. Arklow is near to Wicklow - famous for its gardens, Mount Usher is a wonderful garden centre. Avoca Handweavers in Kilmacanogue Mount User and Avoca - wonderful sfor lunch or shopping. The Bridgewater Centre across the river offers a modern shopping centre and cinema complex - from the ancient to the modern. Dublin is well worth a visit too!
