Situated in a very quiet residential area, a few steps to the sandy Blue Flag beaches, ferries to L’lle-d’Yeu, seaside walks, restaurants, daily markets (except Monday) and the town of St Gilles Croix de Vie. Janet and Mike provide family accommodation to a very high standard.Mike and Janet are retiring at the end of the season after seven successful years.

Local Activities
The property is on the borders of St Gilles Croix de Vie and St Hilaire de Riez. Both towns border the coast and there are many events and activities organised in the summer season such as free magnificent firework displays and concerts for all tastes. There are a wealth of natural sites; the beautiful beaches, forests and country side. It is especially good for those who like walking or cycling with miles of foot paths and safe cycle tracks. Cycle hire is easy and plentiful.
There are daily market in either St Gilles or St Hilaire every day of the week except Monday. The feature of the markets has to be the fish and seafood most of which is caught by the local fishermen. St Gilles Croix de Vie is one of the most important fishing ports in France, famous for is sardines and anchovies. The local restaurants boast a wealth fish on the menus and you cannot visit the area without having moules frites (mussels and chips) at least once
