YOUR HOLIDAYS IN THE CEVENNES

Magnificent apartment having belonged to the Baron Jean Soulié, Brigadier under Napoleon 1st, renewed with the concern of the comfort (fully equipped kitchen of 30m2, bathroom with big bathtub) but in the respect for the tradition (floor-tiles on the ground of the kitchen, parquet in chataignier, high ceilings of 3.20m)

It is composed of a big kitchen, a lounge with a double bed in 140 cms and two big rooms (one with a double bed in 160 cms and the other one with two beds in 120 cms). The sleeping around is completed by a folding bed for one person and a baby bed.

In the heart of Ganges, you will take advantage completely of the Tuesday and Friday morning markets to furnish yourself with products of the region, and will be near restaurants, but also of the cinema.

Rivers (the Hérault and Vis) are just at the exit of the city and, for the most sports amateur, the surrounding nature offers a multitude of ballads and hikes. You will also be able to practise canoé, climbing, equitation, go-carting, and naturally cycle....

As for the tourist visits, they are numerous in the region: Montpelier and Nimes for city envy, the caves of the Demoiselles (4 km) and of Trabuc, The Mer des rochers (Sea of the Rocks) of Sauve, St Jean du Gard's aquarium, the museum of the mailman in Mazel, the museum of the silk in St Hippolyte du Fort etc....

Living Area

The house is located in the heart of the village, right of the place where the market takes place. The river is just outside the village.

Kitchen Facilities

Large kitchen (35m2) with a bar. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, a coffee machine, a dish-washer, an oven, a 5 gas hot plate. It is also the eating place with a big table and 8 chairs.
