Property Description

Recently refurbished to provide two twin bedrooms, both with ceiling fans, there is also a double bed/settee in the lounge where a fifth and sixth person could sleep if required.
The open plan lounge/dining room has a new full kitchen at one end which has a fridge, oven, 4 ring ceramic hob, microwave and a washing machine and patio doors at the other leading on to the south facing balcony, which attract the sun most of the day. We have a wall mounted LCD TV in the lounge with BBC an ITV programs, and there is also a tv in the master bedroom along with a wheelchair accessible ensuite shower room. There is a ceiling fans and air conditioning in the lounge area.
There are 3 pools on the complex and plenty of free sunbeds along with 2 bars, the sundowners which has karaoke and games nights and is probably the most popular bar in golf del Sur, with beer at only 1.5 euros a pint. The Legends bar has a large TV showing sports and is great for a quiet drink, there is also a cafe, laundrette and car hire on site and an Irish bar and small supermarket across the road.

Golf del Sur is a fabulous holiday destination, totally purpose built from the outset as a holiday resort and golf course it has everything you could wish for in a holiday destination. The golf course was opened in 1987 and the resort hasn?t looked back since.
You?ll notice the laid back village atmosphere in Golf Del Sur compared to the hustle and bustle of the main resorts of Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos.
Golf del Sur makes an ideal holiday, not only for golfers and older couples, but also families, with its many different activities and leisure facilities on offer. Located just a few kilometres away from the main motorway, it is the ideal place to be based in order to be able to explore the delights of Mount Teide and the rest of the island.
The variety of holiday activities are constatnly expanding and the opening of the new marina, Marina San Miguel, (which is situated between Golf del Sur and the Amarilla Golf resort) has provided even more activites. The promenade which joins the two has spawned an influx of new hotels, bars and restaurants which provide a great location to spend an evening overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
Restaurants and Bars:
There is a plethora of bars and restaurants dotted around all over Golf del Sur, with the main focal points being the San Blas commercial centre, the area around the Aguamarina Hotel and of course, many bars in each individual resort village on the resort.
The bars and restaurants in San Blas offer a wide range of live family entertainment every night with something for everyone. Culinary delights are on offer from all over the world ranging from a simple snack to a full "a la carte" menu. There are Chinese restaurants, Indian, Japanese Teppenyaki, and traditional cuisine including tapas to full international menus. There are also several late bars in the area including a nightclub which stays open until the early hours of the morning.
If you fancy something a little different, a great alternative is the little fishing village of Los Abrigos. Here you will find some of the best seafood restaurants in the whole of Tenerife - all perched above a delightfully quaint traditional fishing harbour. a fantastic way to spend your holiday - eating fresh seafood and basking in the Canary Islands sunshine ? what could be better!
Even though Golf del Sur is famous for its championship golf course and its natural beauty, it has many other activities for the non-golfer. For the sportier person "the Golf" as offers a wide range of facilities including; squash courts, tennis courts, crazy golf, pool and snooker. You can also find plenty of water sports opportunities at the San Miguel Marina.
Golf:
With the Golf del Sur and the Amarilla Golf courses only within a kilometer of each other, the location is popular with golfers from all across Europe, who also take advantage of the beautiful weather. The Golf del Sur course includes 27 holes and is made up from three 9 hole courses, the North, South and Links course, providing a great variety of Golf in one spot.
Nearby :
A few kilometers away El Medano provides facilities for a variety of wind and water sports with a reliable fresh breeze, making windsurfing and Kiteboarding very popular in the area. The town has a laid back feel to it and is a popular haunt with the locals residents escaping the main tourist areas. El Medano also has some of the best Tapas bars around. What could be better than sitting on the water's edge in bar Playa Chico and sampling their local tapas with a bottle of local Canarian wine?
There is a vast number of excursions available in Tenerife all of which can be purchased on the Golf. Loro Parque and the new Siam Water Park are a must during your trip, and there are a variety of whale and dolphin trips to consider too. Jungle Park, Aqualand, the Submarine Safari and San Miguel Castle all offer great days out for the family as well. If you are lucky enough to be around just before or around Ash Wednesday, you'll be lucky enough to catch the world famous Tenerife Carnival in Santa Cruz which should not be missed.
Golf del Sur has something for everyone and holidaymakers from all over Europe return year after year amazed at its natural beauty, range of activities and relaxed environment.
