Property Description

This is a newly refurbished one bed self contained holiday apartment with large private upper terrace in Corralejo. It is ideal for the self catering holiday maker looking for a comfortable, convenient and affordable place to stay. It is a real home for home with everything you will need & at a price to suit your budget. No need to pay the extra luggage fees, travel light. This lovely apartment is in the Residential Las Dunas complex, which hosts a fully equipped gym and tennis courts (rackets not provided). Away from the hustle and bustle of town and yet only a short stroll away from the amenities. Overlooking the swimming pool and beautiful gardens, guests can relax and soak up many hours of Fuerteventura sun boasting more than 300 days of sunshine per year. As Las Dunas Residencial is residential complex, only a few apartments are for tourist rental therefore it is very very quiet, relaxing and an ideal base for recharging your batteries. We ask you please respect your neighbours.

If you are looking for security & privacy our apartment has the ideal location up off the ground level & trellis between apartments giving you additional privacy.The apartment ideal for up to 3 adults. We have used only good quality bedding & towels & we have an excellent housekeeper who maintains the property to a high standard. Smoking is not permitted inside the apartment though ashtrays are provided on the terrace. Mozzy screens are fitted on all the windows for additional comfort but bear in mind they are not additional security. There is a hairdryer & straighteners in the bedroom. There is a selection of games & books in the apartment please feel free to take home your book if you have not finished it before you departure date. Our apartment is has the benefit of additional security as we are not on the ground at pool level but high up overlooking the complex. If stairs are a problem this is not the apartment for you as you need to climb approx 14 steps to access the apartment.

This apartment has a large terrace with beautiful views of the swimming pool and Canarian gardens. Where you can relax and enjoy the morning and midday Canary sun or alfresco dining with a glass of wine or a beer in the evenings. Our apartment has even more privacy as we have recently installed trellis between us & our neighbours There is a lovely swimming pool that has a little swimming / paddle pool for the children. Pool side showers and sun loungers are provided for your use & the pool is cleaned Mon to Fri. There is a tennis court and small gym with a variety of exercise machines (tennis rackets are not provided). Please note the gym and tennis courts are used at owners own risk. We the owners takes no liability for accident or injury whilst using the equipment.

Area Description

The closest beach to the apartment is a 5-10 mins walk & the award winning blue flag beach is approx 15mins. The spectacular Olivia beach is a very short bus trip away and should not be missed on your trip. If you hire a car we suggest that your go round the island & visit the many private coves El Cotillo is a must see. It takes only 2 hours to drive from the top of the Island to the bottom.

There is a new 9 hole golf course only a 5 mins drive from the apartment and an 18 hole course in Caleta de Fuste 45 mins drive.

Corralejo is a hive of activity with many attractions for those who are looking for adventure. Snorkeling, diving, surfing, boat trips, power kites, buggies and bicycle hire and many more all can be booked locally. There is also Azul fit for Yoga, pilates, tratements & meditation only a short distance from the apartment. Enquiries for this can be made on there website.

Once at the airport the journey time to the apartment is approx 35 mins drive. We can arrange private collection and transfer for ?70 return or you can take a taxi to the apartment for ?45 one way. Car hire is available at the airport though we would recommend you shop around as prices vary greatly. There is a good bus service in Corralejo to Olivia Beach and the sand dunes the nearest stop to the apartment is 200m just adjascent to Flintsones Bar.

The nearest small supermarket and bar are only 200m away and the lovely new Canarian open air shopping centre El Campanario which has a large supermarket, shops, Tapas and pizza cafe and a local craft market on Sundays, only 5 minutes walk away. The Baku Water and Theme Park are a 10 minutes walk where there is also the a local market on a Monday and Friday. The Town Centre's bars, shops and beaches etc. are a leisurely 15 minute walk.

If you hire a car you can visit many of the hidden gems on the Island the fabulous coves and seclude beaches are just bliss. There are many restaurants and bars in Corralejo, Rosie O'Grady's is an family friendly Irish bar and restaurant and is one of my favourites for home cooked food and great craic.

Edele and Annie will look after you just like home where you can enjoy an evening of Trad and Country music with Line Dancing or the quiz but be warned they can stay up very very late...There are far to many restaurants and bars we like for you to go round them all but please be adventurous have a saunter down the harbour for the freshest seafood. Or round the town and the back streets where there are many hidden treasures of bars and eateries for you to sample. Corralejo has managed to retain its original charm and atmosphere, and there are still white sandy beaches in the town centre where you can go down and soak up the Canaries sunshine and have a have a beer or cocktail and enjoy the stunning views.
