Caribbean Islands27 July 2009 Looking into a venture to the Caribbean Islands? Why not rent a place that isn't a hotel, or motel. Finding a location in the Islands of the Caribbean that will provide you and your loved ones with a bit more privacy as you vacation. There are plenty of activities to keep you busy while you visit the Caribbean Islands.
The overall Caribbean Plate actually has over 7, 000 total islands, cays, reefs, and islets. Of course you won't be visiting that many locations when you do go to the Caribbean Islands. But you could visit the Antilles, West Indies, or many other locations.
Many other island locations are there as well and often visited. They include Aruba, Cayman Islands, Antigua, Grenada, and Saint Vincent among only a few. With lots of myths and legends of pirate tales you can look around and investigate these whilst on your visit.
The climate in the Caribbean Islands is tropical; however some seasons may show more rain than others. Look into the waters of the Caribbean Islands to see turtles, schools of fish, and coral that is beautiful. Though do be careful to not visit during the hurricane season, just in case.
Enjoy the sun during the day on the beautiful beaches, and take a dip into the cool ocean waters. Surfing is another activity that you can enjoy, or look into hiring a horse for a nice trot along the beaches. There are many choices of night clubs where you can spend a wonderful night. All of the Caribbean Islands have many different activities that you can enjoy. Go sailing, check out the various shops and buy presents for friends back home. Don't forget to try out the different locations where you can find native food and other choices too.
Or check out one of the smaller islands where fewer tourists head to, like Anguilla, with many choices of places to eat, and even art galleries and wonderful white sandy beaches, this small Caribbean Island is not one of the islands that you will feel like you're in the middle of someone else's vacation!
The Caribbean Islands are a wonderful vacation idea for the couple who want to get away for that romantic vacation. When you do that make sure you pick a smaller less known and visited island. More privacy will mean more time you can spend together. But be sure to check out the larger of the Caribbean Islands too, it's all fun, and the weather is usually very nice.
